Overview
The 1.2m 1030-T tripod flyaway is a new take on an antenna AvL has been producing for many years. This ruggedized terminal operates on a lightweight one-piece tripod that easily unfolds and anchors for a quick set-up. Once the tripod is in place the positioner attaches quickly with hooks and locks, and the positioner includes and I/O panel with connectors. The offset 1.2m reflector flexible removes from the positioner to enable a compact pack-up. The antenna packs into two IATA-compliant airline checkable cases.

- Model 1.2m 1030-T is a tri-band Ka, Ku or X-band antenna system that packs into two IATA compliant cases; the tripod is one piece for quick assembly and the positioner includes an I/O panel
- Model 1.2m 1030 FA DBS antenna operates in DBS, Ku, Ka and X bands; the antenna is configured with a tripod or case-based and packs in two cases
- Model 1.2m 1230-T is a tri-band Ka, Ku or X-band antenna system that packs into two IATA compliant cases; the tripod is one piece for quick assembly and the positioner includes an I/O panel. This terminal is currently in ARSTRAT Ka Phase 3 and Inmarsat Category 1 and 4
