Voice
and Fax over IP
Voice
and fax service is available to select countries all over the
world.
VoIP, or Internet telephone, uses a packet-switched network to
transmit voice, and as a result, more effectively utilizes the
bandwidth capacity. IP offers a more efficient transmission of
voice as packets from different sources are interspersed with
each other.
IP
Fax uses the same principles as VoIP and routes fax transmissions
as data packets over a lower cost IP network. Because the traffic
bypasses the public network, there are no access, transport or
termination costs.
IP
Hosting
IP
Hosting gives gives international carriers and other communications
service providers quick entry into the rapidly expanding IP market.
Services such as international voice, fax and enhanced data while
offering extended access to a worldwide network without capital
expenditures or the need for continuing upgraded platforms. This
access-replacing network is scalable bandwidth matched to meet
the customer's requirements. Customers are charged flat, recurring
fees for international origination and termination and for the
equipment provided. Rate varies depending on the scale and service
level plan established.

Bi-Directional
Switched Voice and Fax
Bi-directional
international voice and data services are transmitted over
private IP networks to international carriers and service
providers throughout select countries...
This
service offers international carriers the ability to route
international voice and fax calls over IP backbone to the
United States and internationally at reduced costs while
providing reliable, high quality service via new technology. |
VoIP
Silicon Gateway Technology
Designed
to lead the emerging VoIP market into the mainstream, the integrated
silicon and software VoIP Gateway solutions for CPE, SME and High
Density applications perform at the industry's highest levels
without compromising VoIP quality and features.
This
gateway solutions provides optimized architectures and the requisite
features required for the three market segments, while maintaining
the quality of service required in today's competitive environment.
This technology provides a roadmap from two port devices to OC-3
(2,016 channels) on a single chip with full solution density.
(Solution Density refers to optimizing area per channel, power
consumption, architecture and cost to support the features required
by OEMs producing true toll quality gateways.)
These
solutions are expected to usher in a host of new broadband services,
such as personalized high speed internet and voice services, telecommuter
services, unified messaging, and integrated voice and web-enabled
call center support.
The
access communication processor includes the highest level of integration
of DSP and RISC processors, memory and common system functions
and system interfaces. Key features include two DSP cores, RISC
processor, memory, DES/3DES encryption, two 10/100 Ethernet MACs,
PCI and USB.
True
toll quality is achieved through a full implementation of voice
features that include echo cancellation, voice packet playout
software, tone processing, voice activity detection with comfort
noise generation and the use of low bit rate voice codecs for
bandwidth reduction. These features enable VoIP telephony to meet
or exceed quality levels expected in modern telephony systems.
This
revolutionary concept offers a complete VoIP product portfolio,
with solutions for Residential/SOHO, Enterprise, and High Density
gateway applications; enterprise IP phone; remote access servers
(RAS); digital subscriber line (DSL) and cable. Approximately
80 percent of the VoIP products in use or in development today
are based on this technology.
