455 Composite MTS/BTSC Subcarrier System |

| The 455 Composite Subcarrier System provides a transparent path for MTS/BTSC composite signals over a video microwave system with less than 0.1 % distortion at 1 kHz and flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 120 kHz. Frequency from 1 MHz to 9.99 MHz and "wide" ( for STL applications) or "narrow" deviation settings appear on the front panel LCD display. The narrow setting provides BTSC broadcast standard compatibility (at 4.50 MHz) for direct feeds to cable systems or translator facilities. Threshold extension allows receiving signals under severe fades. Connection to video is via a passive directional coupler which does not load the video signal. | ||
