2003 Agile Satellite Test 0.95-1.45 GHz Upconverter |

The 2003 Agile Test 0.95-1.45 GHz Upconverter takes a 70 or 140 MHz IF and converts it to 950 to 1450 MHz in 1MHz steps. The 70 MHz input is mixed with a synthesized 1020 - 1520 (C) or 880 - 1.38 (Ku) MHz local oscillator signal. The output frequency is selected using up and down tune push button switches which control the synthesized oscillator. Pushing these switches simultaneously allows selection of high side LO (C) or low side LO (Ku) and 70 or 140 MHz input. The 2003 has a front panel alarm LED that lights when the PLL is unlocked and this alarm signal goes to an open drain FET output. A yellow LED on the front panel indicates remote operation. The output of the mixer is applied to the output switched attenuator providing IF to RF gains of -25dB, -45dB, or -65dB. Power is via a wall-mount power supply; connectors are BNC female. |
